Tamil actor Sivakartikeyan, who turns 32 years old today (17 February), has unveiled the first look of his upcoming film, Velaikkaran, which will be directed by Mohan Raja. The news was confirmed on Twitter, by the film studio 24AM studios. Velaikkaran will have a huge star cast including Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Fahadh Faasil, Sneha, Rohini, RJ Balaji and Sathish
Velaikkaran is expected to release in August this year. According to Zee News, the film will focus on how a man from the slums deals with the malpractice of food adulteration. On his birthday, Sivakartikeyan cut a huge cake with the first look of the film.
Sivakartikeyan’s last film, Remo, was a huge success at the box office. In the film he shared screen space with Keerti Suresh and had two roles, one of which was a female nurse. Velaikkaran is pegged to be a commercial entertainer with a strong social angle. It will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, who is collaborating with Sivakartikeyan for the fifth time.
