 "Vaani Kapoor roped in for YRF's next film, starring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff")
Vaani Kapoor has been signed on to star opposite Hrithik Roshan in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming production.
A Siddharth Anand directorial, the film which is touted to be the “biggest action spectacle of 2019” will see Tiger Shroff play the parallel lead alongside Roshan.
The production house confirmed the news on Twitter, announcing that the film will release on 25 January, 2019.
A YRF heroine, Kapoor had made her acting debut with the 2013 romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.
After her Bollywood debut, she went on to do a Tamil film and most recently starred in YRF’s Befikre opposite Ranveer Singh. Befikre not only tanked at the box-office, it was also criticised for an illogical plot. Therefore, this film remains crucial for the actress.
Anand, who is known for films like Bang Bang!, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Salaam Namaste, said the makers were looking for a fresh face opposite Roshan and their search ended with Kapoor.
Known was her standout dancing skills, Kapoor might prove to be an apt choice to feature Roshan, who himself is an acclaimed dancer.
