Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar share throwback images of Rajesh Khanna on actor's 76th birthday
Twinkle captioned the picture saying when she was a child and bouquets of flowers came into their house for Rajesh Khanna, she'd always think they were for her.
Twinkle Khanna shares her birthday with father and legendary actor Rajesh Khanna. The actress-cum-author shared a beautiful picture of Rajesh waving out to his numerous fans on the special occasion. Twinkle captioned the image by saying that when their residence used to be flooded with bouquets of flowers on 29 December every year, she would believe as a child that all the gifts were for her.
Rajesh is seen sporting a bandhgala in the picture, coupled with sunglasses. The actor's body of work made him earn the first ever 'superstar' title in the Hindi film industry. He is also the only actor who has seen 15 consecutive superhits in a row at the box office, between 1969 to 1971.
Twinkle's husband and actor Akshay Kumar aslo posted an old picture of Twinkle along with parents Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Kumar wrote that he'd only heard of the super stardom that Rajesh Khanna was used to enjoying and Kumar added that he'd never thought he would one day marry the legendary actor's daughter.
While growing up I’d heard fascinating tales of his superstardom, never imagining one day I’ll marry his fascinating daughter...thank you for giving me this precious one❤️ Happy birthday to both of you 😘😘 pic.twitter.com/ObXjzvrNt1
