TV actors Sheena Bajaj, Rohit Purohit to get married on 22 January as per Marwari, Punjabi rituals

TV actors Rohit Purohit and Sheena Bajaj have confirmed the news of their wedding to the Times of India. Sheena said they have set the wedding date on the 22 January and the pre-wedding functions will be held on the previous day.

They have chosen Jaipur as their venue, as the city is Bajaj’s hometown. Purohit further said that they will be following both Marwari and Punjabi traditions for their wedding as Sheena is Punjabi and Rohit is Marwari.

The two started dating six months after they met. Talking about the rumours of their break-up in June, Sheena stated that it wasn’t a breakup and that they both just needed to take some time off. The actress also shared, “The only thing I have always been sure of is that I want to be with Rohit at any cost. He made the decision of getting married early and here we are.” They have been together for 5 years.

On work front, Sheena Bajaj, is currently seen playing the role of Mahima Makwana aka Mariam’s elder sister Meher in Star Plus show Mariam Khan - Reporting Live and has been a part of many other popular shows as well.
