Tumhari Sulu: Sridevi to launch reprise version of 'Hawa Hawai' track from Vidya Balan-starrer
Tumhari Sulu features Vidya Balan as a regular Indian homemaker who turns into a radio jockey by night.

Vidya Balan's upcoming slice-of-life film, Tumhari Sulu is all set to hit the screens on 17 November this year, after the makers of the film decided to release the film a week earlier than its initial date of release, 24 November, to avoid a clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Padmavati.
The film also has a reprise version of the iconic song, 'Hawa Hawai' from the 1987 Shekhar Kapur film Mr India starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri. According to a DNA report, the Tumhari Sulu makers have been able to rope in Sridevi to launch the song with Balan.
The report says that Sridevi was delighted when she was approached for the launch; she readily agreed. In the past, on numerous occasions, Balan has confessed her immense adulation for the English Vinglish actress. Thus, it was nothing less than a dream come true for the Kahaani actress to pay a special tribute to her favourite actress.
DNA, in its report, also adds that the makers of Tumhari Sulu will reportedly show the final edited and complete version of the song to Sridevi before the launch. Sridevi herself is a huge admirer of Balan; it will be a sheer delight to see two actresses of such immense calibre come together on stage. The song will be launched at a grand event which is slated to be held after the trailer launch scheduled for next week.
Balan will be seen as a regular Indian homemaker who lives a dichotomous life, as she turns into a radio jockey by night, in the Suresh Triveni film. Along with Balan, Tumhari Sulu also features Neha Dhupia, Manav Kaul and RJ Mallishka in pivotal roles.
