The upcoming Kabir Khan’s Tubelight starring Salman Khan is inciting enthusiasm and excitement among the star’s fans after the first look was released on Monday.

Kabir shared the picture of Salman’s first look on his Instagram account, which shows the actor dressed as a soldier.

Happy Independence Day from the team of #tubelight #Ladakh

Although the picture is a back shot of Salman, it shows him carrying a gun and rucksack on his shoulder. They are shooting at Leh and Ladakh. The movie is set in the backdrop of 1962 China-India war.

Kabir also shared his Instagram post on Twitter, with the message “Happy Independence Day from the team of #tubelight #Ladakh”.

Kabir had previously shared some images with Salman while shooting the movie.

Right from his debut Kabul Express, to New York and his last Phantom, the filmmaker has helmed movies that have a strong political background.

Tubelight will mark the third collaboration between Kabir and the 50-year-old Dabangg star after blockbusters Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Tubelight is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
