Trailer watch: Kangana Ranaut as the wacky Revolver Rani

While in Queen we will be seeing Kangana Ranaut as a simple, small town girl, Rani, the actress is all set to play a very different part in Revolver Rani. The trailer of _Revolver Ran_i is out today and it shows Ranaut as a  gun wielding, powerful and wacky politician. In the beginning of the trailer she introduces herself saying, " Hum hai Alka Singh. I like phaisan, phun aur gun." (I am Alka Singh. I like fashion, fun and gun.) [caption id=“attachment_1422571” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Courtesy: Twitter[/caption] Ranaut’s Alka Singh has such a quirky sense of fashion that she can give Lady Gaga a run for her money but Alka is not to be trifled with. She, with her revolver can scare the cops and public alike. However, her only weakness is her toy boy (Vir Das), who wants to be a Bollywood hero. The trailer tells us that other politicians use Das’ s character as a bait to get Alka out their ways. Whether they succeed or not will only be known once the film releases. Revolver Rani seems to be a political satire set in rural India and if the trailer is any indication then Vir Das and Kangana Ranaut are all set to deliver a ‘phun’ film.  Written and directed by Sai Kabir,  Revolver Rani will hit the screens on 11 April.
