Total Dhamaal director Indra Kumar confirms he's begun work on another sequel, registered two titles for fourth part
Indra Kumar said that he has already begun work on the Total Dhamaal sequel, which may be called Triple Dhamaal or Full On Dhamaal.
Even as Total Dhamaal, the third instalment in the Dhamaal franchise, is gearing up for its release next month, director Indra Kumar has confirmed that another sequel is in pipeline.
Indra, during his interaction with Mid-Day, said that he has already begun work on the next edition in the comic caper franchise and has registered two titles, Triple Dhamaal and Full On Dhamaal, for the film.
Whereas the first two films Dhamaal (2007) and Double Dhamaal (2011) featured Sanjay Dutt, the actor will not be seen in Total Dhamaal. Speaking about the casting for the forthcoming version, Kumar told the daily, "I would want to repeat the cast in the next instalment. I missed Sanjay (Dutt) during the shoot of Total Dhamaal. He couldn't do it because of date issues. But I will force him to join us in the next."
Total Dhamaal boasts of an ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Johnny Lever, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaffrey and Riteish Deshmukh. Apart from the actors seen in the posters of Total Dhamaal, Mahesh Manjrekar and Esha Gupta also feature in the film.
The trailer of the comedy entertainer was unveiled on 21 January, which seems to chart a wildlife treasure hunt of sorts. The film is slated to release on 22 February.
"It's a deeply stirring subject, and we have made it on a scale that only theatres could do justice to," says Kangana Ranaut on Dhaakad.
