Tollywood comedian Balireddy Prithviraj booked for alleged domestic harassment

Hyderabad police have registered a case of cheating and harassment against Tollywood comedian Balireddy Prithviraj after his alleged wife filed a complaint accusing him of domestic harassment. [caption id=“attachment_3043928” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Balireddy Prithviraj[/caption] In her complaint with the Banjara Hills police K Kavitha claimed that she first met Prithviraj in 2010, and married him in a temple ceremony after he ’lured her with luxuries’. Since then, the woman and her two children from a previous marriage were under his care. However, the woman claims she soon found out that he was having affairs with others. “When I questioned him about the affair, he said that he would do as he pleased. He also took away Rs 2 lakh cash and gold ornaments and threatened to kill me and my kids if I complained to anyone,” Deccan Chronicle quotes from the woman’s complaint. The police have booked Prithviraj under sections 420 for cheating and 498A for harassment. However Kavitha later sought to withdraw her case.
