Tiger Zinda Hai poster shows Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif in a video game(ish) setting

All the video game enthusiasts out there, here’s the news: Now you have Bollywood megastars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif doing path-breaking action and combat sequences in their latest film, which will remind you of classic games like Call of Duty, Lara Croft and Counter Strike. No, they are not being featured in a video game (though that sounds like quite an interesting prospect), but this is for their upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai, which releases this year on 22 December. We couldn’t contain ourselves, after we saw the latest poster of the film that released today on 25 October. Image via Twitter/ @yrf[/caption] Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger that also starred Khan and Kaif in the lead roles as spy agents. While the previous installment was directed by Kabir Khan, the upcoming film has been steered by Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar. Last week, Salman Khan revealed his first look from the film on Twitter and he was seen in a rather intense form. In an interview with _DNA_ , Khan had said, “Tiger Zinda Hai is going to be bigger than Ek Tha Tiger for sure. It begins from where we left off in part one. Tiger Zinda Hai has things that you have never seen before in Indian cinema. We are making this film on a huge scale, especially the action.” He was quoted saying that the film’s action scenes match up to Hollywood standards. “The action scenes that I have shot with the team in Austria and Abu Dhabi are on another level. There are horses, tanks, big weapons and there’s this whole army, military backdrop. It’s like something you see in Hollywood films,” added Khan. We don’t know about the film, but we can definitely see that the poster contains huge Hollywood influences. With those choppers hovering above, the two lead actors in their most-combative mode loaded with guns and barrels, standing over a debris, and smoking industrial chimneys give a rather apocalyptic touch to the poster. But, let’s hope that “there will be peace”.
