South African businessman Iqbal Sharma has left with a fractured nose, leaving the case to be settled by the State of Maharashtra and Saif Ali Khan. But he hasn’t let the distance dent his version. In a chat with ibnlive with its viewers, he answered the curious and the skeptic with an even tone that did not intend to sensationalise or provoke. And with that, he perhaps scores over Saif on credibility. A few exchanges, as they appear on the site**:** Q: Now that Saif has publicly apologised, will you be withdrawing your complaint? Or do you want to fight it out in court and remind all the celebrities that they are not above the law? [caption id=“attachment_224535” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=". Sometimes to do the right thing, one has to be inconvenienced and this is an inconvenience I will gladly welcome. PTI"] [/caption] A: It is not my interest to teach any celebrities any lessons. There has been no apology and we will seek justice Q: Aren’t you giving a much-needed publicity platform to Saif and his movie Agent Vinod by going all out like this? A: Should one not seek out justice when an injustice has been committed? Q: How did you not know Saif and Kareena when you have a direct Bollywood connection and your wife is a Bollywood actress? A: I have heard their names but don’t know them and wouldn’t recognise them if they had walked past me. I do not live in India and though I support my wife’s career, my life does not revolve around Bollywood Q: Do you feel that the law is easy on media-friendly personalities like Saif as he is let off on a bail with very less amount and you have to fight the case giving away your time and energy to reach some conclusion? A: He has a constitutional right to bail in the context of the section of the penal code with which he is charged, so I have no issue with that. Sometimes to do the right thing, one has to be inconvenienced and this is an inconvenience I will gladly welcome. An assault on a senior citizen is the lowest of lows. Q: Was this brawl staged? A: Staged for what? I don’t require publicity and I am sure it would not be in the actor’s interest to stage a brawl where he attacks a senior citizen. What sort of hero would that be???? Q: Would you approach Saif to call a truce? A: NEVER
