Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru Trailer: Karthi plays a fierce cop in this racy thriller

Packed with edgy and racy action sequences, the Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru trailer gives us a glimpse of what looks like a fierce cop story. Starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh and directed by Vinoth, the latest Kollywood flick said to be based on true events, and has Karthi playing a cop again after Siruthai, in this promising thriller. In the trailer of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru we are introduced to the premise of the story that revolves around a mysterious crime taken place in a far away mansion. Shot in Tamilnadu and Jaisalmer, Karthi is seen as the leader of this mission, constantly battling the bad guys and chasing the case. The actress is heard ranting about Karthi’s frequent transfers as a cop, giving us more insight into the plot. While we know little about Rakul’s role in this crime drama apart from being Karthi’s love interest, Karthi steals the show in this two minute glimpse with his potrayal as an angry cop who never gives up and urges to save the innocents. ‘Based on the heinous crimes from 1995 to 2005’ is what is revealed in the trailer, and with some sharp background score by Ghibran, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru manages to get us extremely curious. Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, slated for a November release, is strikingly opposite to the actor’s previous film, Kaatru Veliyidai, which was a love story set during the Kargil war, directed by Mani Ratnam. The film also reminds fans of how Karthi is all set to takeover as an intense cop, much like his brother and actor Suriya, in the three installments of Singham. Watch the trailer here:
