The Wolverine mints Rs 15 crore on opening weekend in India

Chennai: Hugh Jackman-starrer The Wolverine, which released July 26, has grossed Rs 15 crore on the opening weekend in India. “’The Wolverine’ has garnered an astounding Rs 15 crore gross (Rs 10.5 crore nett) in its opening weekend in the country,” read an official statement. “The opening weekend of the film also ranks as the third highest of all time for the production house’s (distributor Fox Star Studios) Hollywood title after Avatar and Life of Pi,” the statement added.
