The singing diva: Priyanka Chopra's single 'In My City' to release today

The countdown for the release of Priyanka Chopra’s first single In my city is finally over. The beauty queen is going to release her debut single In My City today. Since Priyanka wanted her fans in India to be the first to hear her sing,  the album will release in India first and then in US, with a gap of 12 hours in between. Her single ‘In My City’ will be released during the “Thursday Night Football”  in US and the actress is both excited and nervous about  it. The album will also feature famous rap artiste and Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. The actress had revealed the first look of the album cover exclusively on Twitter for her fans. Along with the photograph of the sleeve of her album Priyanka also tweeted “For ur eyes only…my single cover! Say whaaaaa?” The cover reveals Priyanka as the diva that she generally is. It was indeed a pleasant departure to see the fashionista Priyanka back in the forefront again, especially after her new look for her upcoming film Barfi where she plays the character of an autistic girl and sports short curly hair. The cover is actually a profile of Priyanka’s face in a radiant gold hue, with her eyes lines with kohl, a dab of shimmery golden lipstick on her lips and blonde highlights on her hair. The cover does have an international feel and the beauty queen has left no stone unturned to make it big as a singing diva.
