There was a lot of singing and dancing going on in the Oscars, but the two stand out performances today came via the Bond franchise. [caption id=“attachment_638694” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  AP[/caption] First the indestructible Dame Shirley Bassey completely stunned the audience with her powerful rendition of the Bond classic Goldfinger, literally shocking the audience awake. (Be warned: The video below is not of very good quality - we’ll update with a better one as soon as we find it)
The performance had many wondering aloud on as to how Adele would match up. But the British songstress more than held her own with her own performance of Skyfall.
