The meeting of titans: Rajinikant surprises Big B in Chennai

A surprise visit from superstar Rajinikant can make anyone ecstatic even if he is the most celebrated actor of Bollywood. So, when Amitabh Bachchan was visited by the superstar, Big B promptly tweeted to express his delight. “Rajnikant pays me visit in my room ! Looks recovered from his recent illness..thank God ! Always a delight to spend time with him,” he tweeted. Bachchan himself is recuperating from pain after undergoing an abdominal surgery in February. NDTV   reported that a few years ago, Rajini had said, “He (Amitabh) is my inspiration, role model and guru.” Responding to Rajini’s comments, Amitabh Bachchan had responded, “I had a long association with Rajni and value him as a friend and colleague. He is truly a son-of the soil who is admired and loved by every Indian. I admire him because of his tender heart and humility. He is so grounded despite the adulation and fame he has enjoyed throughout his career. Given his humble beginning, Rajini is an example for every Indian. His simplicity, honesty, and down-to-the-earth nature have always impressed me.” The two legends have starred together in movies like Andha Kanoon, Giraftar and Hum.
