The Hobbit trailer promises great things for LOTR fans

Peter Jackson did the impossible in making the Lord of The Rings trilogy even more epic, and it looks like he is all set to do it again with The Hobbit, An Unexpected Journey. Starring Martin Freeman as the lovable Bilbo Baggins (He’s not as whiny as his nephew Frodo, thank god), the first part of the Hobbit is all set to hit theatres on 28 November. [caption id=“attachment_462539” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Gollum before he grew to hate all ‘Hobbitses’[/caption] And seeing as that’s still so darn far away, the producers have released a short 2 minute trailer of the film, to either give fans something to hold on to until the film releases, or increase the torture of the wait, as the case may be. The film promises epic adventure, with some great battle scenes featuring brave dwarves, hideous trolls, orcs and of course Bilbo Baggins armed with the elven blade, Sting. It is also full of little delights. A bewildered Bilbo Baggins is coerced into doing the unthinkable and setting off on an adventure (Hobbits hate adventures), for reasons only Gandalf knows why. There is a younger, less emaciated Gollum luring Bilbo into a game that will prove to be decisive in deciding the fate of middle earth, and of course there is the beauty of Rivendell, the abode of the elves.
