When asked whether she was apprehensive about the public exposure of her ’tummy tuck’ in an industry that’s known to be secretive about personal issues, she boldly reacted to this query, saying that if she was apprehensive about how people would react, she wouldn’t have gotten married at the age of 40. She married Shirish Kunder, who’s 8 years younger than her and she had three kids through IVF. She is unapologetic about her favouritism towards ‘money-making blockbusters’. She added that it’s extremely important for big blockbuster movies to be present and for them to make money, in the absence of which studios would shut down. In this edition of The Firstpost Show she also talks about her unexpected failure of Tees Maar Khan which starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. She says that this was her first rejection on such a huge level and the glee on the faces of several people in the industry at the failure of her movie was completely unexpected.
