Comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld was coming to Mumbai to host at show at The National Sports Complex India (NSCI) this weekend. However, today morning, the organisers of the show announced that it has been cancelled, citing parking and logistic issues.
Reportedly, the traffic cops had aired their concern over the shortage of parking space outside NSCI few days ago and OML had been trying to sort out permission issues with the authorities.
Although people who had already bought tickets for the show has been assured that the refund will be deposited in their accounts soon, Seinfeld fans are not happy that the show has been cancelled. Twitter reactions are pouring in and while some are blaming the organisers and the government, others can’t stop laughing that parking issues forced Seinfeld to cancel his show:
Thanks to inept handling by @Stage42Fest (OML Entertainment), I will miss out on the dream to watch @JerrySeinfeld live. #ShowCancelled :(

The much talked-about Jerry Seinfeld shows have been canceled due to, errrm, traffic snarls. It's like an episode from Seinfeld itself.

What a shame. The Jerry Seinfeld show cancelled due to no available parking. Org and cops should have sorted this out jeopardising fans.

#Sienfeld didn't know that you can check on PARKING & Traffic using the Traffline App. Sigh! http://t.co/SS8We9SyDO pic.twitter.com/KjABSgWYuA
