After a long wait and anticipation, Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s consecration took place on 22nd January and it turned out to be a national celebration. The grand event was graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was attended by several VVIPs including celebs from the entertainment industry, sports and business tycoons. The megastar of Kollywood, Thalaivar Rajinikanth also attended the historical event. He returned to Chennai and spoke to media at the airport. Calling the event ‘spiritual one’ the megastar said, “I had a great darshan. After the Ram temple was opened, I was among the first 150 people to witness (the Ram Lalla idol), and it gave me immense happiness… For me, this is spirituality and not politics. Everyone can have different opinions, and it doesn’t have to match every time.”
