 "Thalaivar Rajinikanth: 100 per cent sure India will win World Cup 2023")
The megastar of the entertainment industry, Thalaivar Rajinikanth, who attended the ICC World Cup semi-final between India and New Zealand, is very sure that India will beat Australia in the final and lift the World Cup. While returning to Chennai, the Kabali actor interacted with media briefly and shared his experience. He also predicted India’s win at the final.
“At first, I felt nervous. Later, when wickets kept falling, it went well. During that one and a half hours, I was quite nervous. But I am 100 per cent sure the (world) cup is ours,” the actor told PTI. Apart from Rajinikanth, celebs like Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Kunal Kemmu, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput among others attended the semi-final match.
On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently busy with Thalaivar 170. The film marks the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth after 32 long years. The duo previously worked in films like Hum, Andhaa Kaanoon, and Geraftaar. It also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier in prominent roles. After wrapping up Thalaivar 170, Rajinikanth will start the shooting of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next. The filmmaker recently tasted the success with Thalapathy Vijay and Sanjay Dutt starrer Leo, which shattered several records at the box office.
