Language: Hindi Directors: Amit Joshi, Aradhana Sah Cast: Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Dimple Kapadia, Rakesh Bedi, Rajesh Kumar Seeing Shahid Kapoor back in a romantic avatar and Kriti Sanon nailing the role of a robot in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is indeed a fun watch. But it will definitely make you question if this is what we are heading for where AI will take over our lives. Will we very conveniently opt for custom made robots as life partners and tune them to doing things that we want them to do. With everybody talking about AI, which is the future, the question is how safe is it going to be and for which you will have to watch _Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya__._ Absolute laughter riot and Kriti Sanon looks just too perfect as robot Sifra, but what happens when you are in a relationship with a robot and you feed everything that you want her to do and she does it just the way you want it is a big question mark. [caption id=“attachment_13707102” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] Still from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya movie[/caption] The movie is written and directed by Amit Joshi. Along with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon we see veteran actors like Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Rakesh Bedi, Anubha Fatehpurla, all of them have done a fantastic job. I would say that more than Shahid, it is Kriti whose role is spot on and it is her performance which is very unconventional and she truly makes you think with her mannerisms. You can make out that there is something really amiss about her though she is very human. But is it a masses movie or not is again is a question mark. The film is  ahead of our times yet relatable is what makes it stand out. The film takes off when Aryan ( Shahid Kapoor), a robotic engineer and a  compulsive bachelor plans to visit his aunt (Dimple Kapadia) in USA who is the CEO of a robotic company. Aryan falls in love with the housekeeper of her aunt. What happens when the housekeeper, Sifra ( Kriti Sanon) turns out to be a robot? [caption id=“attachment_13706572” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] Still from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya[/caption] The look of the movie is beautiful where you get to see lovely houses whether it is Mumbai, Delhi or New York. Everybody in the film is impeccably dressed up whether it is the lead cast or Mausiji (Dimple Kapdia) or Dharmendra who plays the role of Shahid Kapoor’s grandpa. Very tastefully done up decoration of the wedding and engagement scenes and the makers have given importance to every minute details whether it is the styling, the costumes and the sets. It is the atmosphere created by the whole family and not just the lead cast which makes the movie a hilarious watch. Sanon’s robotic expressions are bang on even when she turns evil. As for Shahid Kapoor he should do more romantic hero roles the way he has done here along with layered roles that he is doing. This man is truly a bright craftsman who can fit in all kinds of characters which makes him stand out. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiyais a one-time fun watch.
