'Tere Ishk Mein': Dhanush strikes a fine balance between love, pain and rage in another explosive love saga

The supposed and self proclaimed gate keepers of the society won’t let filmmakers bloom or blaze. When Aanand L Rai made Raanjhanaa in 2013, Dhanush was new to the Hindi film landscape. Once the film released, he was the explosive and expressive lover boy who never gave up. There’s some charm to witness the languishing love stories that could go anywhere. And Rai and Dhanush’s new collaboration is called Tere Ishk Mein. A love letter to rage and anger.

Dhanush, by now, knows how to play his cards. And here, he plays another explosive and debatable character who happens to be an IAF pilot. He aims for the skies and comes back on earth for the woman he has passionately fallen for. She refuses to reciprocate, he refuses to refuse. The Twain may or may not meet. But the leading man and his captivating presence can keep you glued despite the polarizing and provocative narrative.

Tere Ishk Mein perfectly weaves powerful emotions of love, betrayal and vengeance - and Dhanush defines it all with his striking understanding of the genre, something that the audiences have seen it before in Raanjhanaa! And these numbers indicate that Tere Ishk Mein could become Dhanush’s biggest opening yet!
