Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun addressed the audience and said: “He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor. They’re telling him they want him to go and see about his lungs. We’re not trying to be disrespectful. Just bear with us.”

“He was on the verge of tears, saying, ‘My lungs hurt’ as he walked off,” a source said.

The singer, however, returned to sing after a while. He later was taken to a hospital.

Bieber later posted a picture on Twitter of himself in hospital bed and wrote: “Getting better. Thanks for everyone pulling me through tonight. Best fans in the world. Figuring out what happened. Thanks for the love.”
