Bad boy Arjun Reddy aka Vijay Deverakonda is back in and as Taxiwaala. The actor released the first teaser from his upcoming film and like he says, he truly is in a beast mode.
The 30 seconds teaser showcases Deverakonda tame his beast - the classic Contessa, and gives us a small glimpse of what looks like a super fun ride. The actor zooms past mills and city roads in this first look. Needless to say, fans are already extremely curious to watch more of this version of Deverakonda, looking rebellious yet again.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Taxiwaala is pitted to be an action drama about a driver, his ride and the series of events that follow a major twist. While we hardly witness anything about the main plot in the latest look, Jakes Bejoy's hip background score for this racy ride has got us hooked. This will be the composer's first Telugu project; he has otherwise frequently composed for Malayalam and Tamil movies like Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru and an upcoming film Queen.
We are also yet to find out about Tawiwaala's female leads - Priyanka Jawalkar and Malavika Nair. While Priyanka reportedly plays a doctor, Malavika Nair's role is still under covers. The film also stars Ravi Verma, Sijju Menon and Kalyani among others.
Presented by UV Creations and GA2 Pictures, Taxiwaala is slated for an 18 May release.
