Tanmay Bhat mocks Priyanka Chopra's accent. She's cool with it, but not her fans

Tanmay Bhat is back in the line of fire for his jokes. After being subjected to an immense backlash for his Snapchat Sachin Vs Lata: Cvil War , in which he mimicked Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, Tanmay has now managed to upset Priyanka Chopra’s fans with this tweet:

When I say @priyankachopra's name in my head I now automatically pronounce it like "Priyaaaanka Chopruh"

The Quantico actress, however sweetly replied, “I’m supposed to have the accent @thetanmay what happened to u? Lol.”

But while Priyanka may have taken Tanmay’s comment in jest, not so with her fans. Her tweet was followed by a barrage of remarks from fans who took Tanmay to task. TO which, Tanmay had this to say:

Even Priyanka Chopra tweeted in Tanmay Bhatt’s defense saying that it was a joke between two friends.
