Legendary actor Tanuja’s daughter and Kajol’s sister, Tanishaa Mukerji, who grabbed headlines for her personal life and stint in Bigg Boss 7, recently spoke about her emotional struggles and past relationships, along with her mother’s steady presence in tough times.

The actress went on to say that the breakup with her Neal ‘n’ Nikki costar, Uday Chopra, was more painful than with Armaan Kohli.

Speaking about her breakup with Kohli, Mukerji told PinkVilla, “Voh itna heartbreak nahi tha (It wasn’t that big a heartbreak). I was more heartbroken when my relationship with Uday ended. We were friends, we were very close, and we had known each other for a long time.”

The actress also said that she always looks at life positively despite facing public scrutiny. “I’m the kind of person who always looks at the bright side of things… Whatever happens, happens for the good. I enjoy the feeling of falling in love and I cherish the experiences it brings," Tanishaa shared.

The actress recently grabbed headlines for slamming a person who claimed that these reactions were planned by the Saiyaara makers and paid people money to cry and shout in a podcast titled The Asymmetric Crew featuring the creator, The Barber Shop with Shantanu.

“Completely disagree. Times are changing and these people are stuck in the past. Love and appreciate the new. And honestly, what rubbish is this man saying? Does he know anything for a fact. He is using the phenomenon of  _Saiyaara_  to get views by talking negatively. If people are reacting to a film what is so wrong about that. Just because he cannot relate doesn’t mean the younger generation doesn’t either. Every generation is different. This is India. We react. Go watch the film see how the audiences are moved. Then talk. This is just Bollywood bashing ! Brands just have to find new ways to connect to their audiences!” Mukerji commented on the reel, replying to his claim.
