Months after Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan passed derogatory comments against Trisha Krishnan, the actress has once again become a victim of a similar incident. Former AIADMK leader AV Raju recently made some offensive remarks against the Tamil actress, alleging that Trisha was brought to a resort on the insistence of MLA in exchange for money.
In a strong reaction to this, the actress was seen slamming the political leader and also threatened to take legal action against him. While many fans came out in support of Trisha, Tamil actor Vishal, who is also the General Secretary of the Artists Association, was seen condemning the political leader’s statements.
In a long post shared on X, Vishal, without mentioning Trisha or Raju’s name, called him a “stupid idiot.”

“I just heard that a stupid idiot from a political party spoke very ill and disgustingly about someone from our film fraternity. I will not mention your name nor the name of the person you targeted because I know you did it for publicity. I definitely will not mention names because we are not just good friends but also mutual co-artistes in the film fraternity. I wish and hope that the women in your house welcome you back home after what you have done, if they even have a conscience, even if you don’t have one. Yes, it truly pains me to put up a tweet to even retaliate over such a demon on Earth. What you have done is absolutely filthy and not worth mentioning, But these particular ppl mean a lot personally and professionally,” a part of the tweet read.

The actor also noted how it has become a trend to try to make money out of negative publicity about celebrities.
Trisha Krishnan files defamation case against AV Raju
Amid massive message backlash from the actress as well as her fans, the ex-AIADMK leader recently called a press meeting and was seen defending his statement. Mentioning that it was misconstructed, he said that the agenda was to show AIADMK members in a bad light and no one else.
Seemingly unconvinced by the same, the LEO actress has now filed a defamation case against Raju, details of which are shared on her X handle. Earlier, she called out the person in question on social media and wrote, “It’s disgusting to repeatedly see low lives and despicable human beings who will stoop down to any level to gain attention. Rest assured, necessary and severe action will be taken. Anything that needs to be said and done henceforth will be from my legal department.”
