Tamannaah Bhatia-Vijay Varma breakup: Real reason behind couple's split revealed

While Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma’s breakup rumours spread like wildfire on social media, the real reason behind their possible split has now been revealed.

According to Siasat daily, the Sikandar Ka Muqaddar actress, who is in her mid-30s, wanted to tie the knot and was growing impatient. This caused a “point of contention" between the duo, which led to several “frequent disagreements."

Earlier this week, the reports of Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma’s breakup surfaced online and an entertainment portal reported that the duo has maintained self-respect and admiration for each other and are planning to be good friends. “Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma parted ways weeks ago as a couple but they plan to remain good friends. Both have been working hard in their respective schedules," said a source to PinkVilla.

Vijay and Tamannaah began dating while shooting Sujoy’s Ghosh’s segment in Netflix’s ‘Lust Stories 2’. After months of rumours, Tamannaah confirmed her relationship with the Gully Boy actor in June 2023.

“He is someone I really look up to. He is someone with whom I bonded very, very organically. With high achieving women, we have this problem that we think we have to work hard for everything. When something is so simple and you don’t have to walk on eggshells to just be yourself because I think in India we also have this that a woman has to change her entire life for someone… He’s a person who I care about deeply and yeah, he’s my happy place,” said Tamannaah while talking to Film Companion.

Talking about dating a co-star on the set, she added, “I don’t think you can get attracted to someone just because they are your co-star. I have had so many co-stars. I think if one has to fall for someone, feel something for someone, it’s definitely more personal, it’s nothing to do with what they do for a living, I mean that’s not the reason why this would happen.”
