Taimur Ali Khan is already a star as Twitter trolls Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan's newborn

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have been blessed with a baby boy . But more than the good news, the couple are gaining traction on social media because of the rather unique name they have bestowed upon their son - Taimur Ali Khan. Since then, the name has been trending on Twitter leaving the followers wondering why the name of the Turco-Mongol ruler was trending on the micro blogging website. While some started trolling the couple for taking a page out of the history textbook, the others welcomed baby Taimur to the world, adding that it was a befitting name given the royal and distinguished lineage of the Pataudi family. The name may be rather unconventional, but Twitterati started bashing the parents for naming it after an Islamic plunderer and even went on to dub Saif as a ‘jihadist.’ So typical of Twitter. They also started guessing the nickname of the newborn since his maternal side is known for its short and funny nicknames: Rishi Kapoor as Chintu, Rajiv Kapoor as Chimpu, Randhir Kapoor as Dabbu, Karishma Kapoor as Lolo and the mother Kareena as Bebo. Rishi mentioned in an episode of Koffee with Karan Season 2 that it was a conscious decision on his part to not coin any nicknames for his children Ranbir Kapoor and Ridddhima Kapoor. However, Kareena and Saif may not enjoy that luxury as Taimur will be a rather hard-on-the-tongue nickname to shout out. While some tweets absolutely disgusted us, there were a few which got our attention thanks to their witty tone. As we sit back and enjoy these tweets, we hope that these are in good humour as regardless of the name, Taimur Ali Khan will soon be the next industry kid to look out for.
