Taimur Ali Khan gets the most extra gift on his first birthday — a whole forest

What we would give to be Taimur Ali Khan for a day… The Kapoor and the Khans were in Pataudi to celebrate the little nawab’s first birthday. From learning horse-riding with dad to comfortably resting on aunt Karisma’s lap, little Taimur is living it up…and he has just turned one. So what if little Taimur usually falls adorably on the floor after his third step? It’s never too soon to ride a horse. So, it has obviously been a week of cake and gifts, speaking of which, Kareena’s nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar takes home the award for The Most Extra Gift. We thought Aaradhya Bachchan’s xtra fete/birthday party was the most talked-about subject in the club of Celebrity Kids Under Six but where there’s attention, there’s mighty Taimur. On his first birthday, the most instagrammed celeb kid got a forest as a birthday gift from Diwekar. Not a sipper, not a Johnson’s Baby gift hamper, but a vast expanse of green, which thrives on “intercropping”.

There are 100 trees in the Taimur forest which will bear fruit just when Taimur starts prepping for his big Bollywood debut, so his diet is sorted. There is amla for protein, bananas for carbs and mangoes for cheat days. Taimur Ali Khan will have fresh fruit delivered to him, from his own forest for the rest of his life and he has achieved all of this while making the cutest faces at the paparazzi and chewing on everything with a definite shape.
