Indian Express
. However, a spokesperson of Stallone told
Deadline.com
that “any involvement in Tiger Sharoff’s Rambo is not happening, under any circumstances.” The representative said that they do not hold anything against Shroff or the makers. They just do not want to encourage such rumours because Stallone has nothing to do with the remake. They still wish the best for Shroff. Stallone had made his Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer Kambakkht Ishq in 2009. To see the real Rambo on screen with the Indian Rambo would be a historical moment for Indian cinema. Shroff also reacted to the rumours, sounding hopeful. He said that it would be great if the makers are able to get on board. He is, however, busy preparing for his role, since he is stepping into the shoes of one of the most remarkable actors to play a timeless character. The remake will be directed by Siddharth Anand and co-produced by M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures.
