Global house music superstars Swedish House Mafia, who had announced their break-up after 2013’s One Last Tour, are getting back together. The ‘Greyhound’, ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and ‘Save the World’ hit-makers confirmed their reunion with a surprise performance at Miami’s Ultra Festival on Sunday (25 March). The EDM group, comprising of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, appeared onstage and then confirmed their return as a group. Each member of the group — Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso — introduced themselves to the Miami crowd and said that they’ll be performing as Swedish House Mafia.
They then delivered a set that included all their big hits like ‘Save The World’, ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and ‘Greyhound’. Before closing the set, the trio performed a firework packed version of their single ‘One’. It was being rumored for moths that Swedish House Mafia are going to reunite, and the group confirmed these rumors in a Facebook post captioned ‘It was time’.
Fans reacted positively to the news and took to Twitter to express their happiness.
