The show which will be aired on the Jio TV app on every Friday to Sunday has been named Dan Dana Dan. Some sources tell Indian Express that the actors will be dissecting the matches keeping the entertainment factor and comedy in mind. The show is somewhat like a comedy version of Extra Innings. The show will also be marked by several guest appearances for special episodes.

“It will be an out and out comedy series where the cricket angle has been smartly incorporated. For the first time, a comedy show will hit the digital waves and with such a talented star cast, the makers are quite confident of making it a hit project. Every episode will also see some cricketers joining in for a fun conversation and some gags. Recently, Sunil flew down with the team to Chennai to shoot for the pilot episode with the Chennai Super Kings team," a source tells the publication.

Frames Productions along with Preeti and Neeti Simoes are helming the show. The team recently shot with MS Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh. The Simoes sisters, who have closely been associated with The Kapil Sharma Show, have put their creative ideas into this non-fiction outing where Shilpa Shinde will be taking charge of the comedy, sources said.

The IPL 2018 will begin on 7 April and continue upto 27 May.
