Sujoy Ghosh to helm another thriller titled Good Luck after producing TV trilogy?
Sujoy Ghosh is reportedly coming back on the big screen with another thriller titled Good Luck. The story revolves around a salesman and is set in Goa.
Ghosh's last film, Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh was a thriller starring Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal. The Kahaani franchise was hailed by one and all as a great work of cinema.
Firstpost had earlier reported that Sujoy Ghosh is currently producing a series of tele-films. The filmmaker is now, reportedly, coming back on the big screen with another thriller, titled Good Luck, as per Pune Mirror.
The story will revolve around a salesman and his love interest. Once the cast is finalised, the whole team will take off to the coastal state to begin filming.
Although the director has not confirmed the news yet, it is being reported that he is currently looking for suitable actors to be cast in leading roles in the film. As per the same report, the film is touted to be a dark thriller, set in Goa.
Ghosh is also following suit and exploring television. About his telefilms, the first installment is titled Mirchi Malini. It is being directed by Bengali writer-director Pratim Das Gupta. Bengali actress Paoli Dam, who has been a part of the Hate Story franchise, will star in the episode alongside Oberoi.
The telefilms will be a three part series, with plenty of unexpected twists.
K Sera Sera's petition in the Bombay HC states that the producers and presenters of Kahaani 2 have unfairly refused to release the film through its system.
Kahaani 2 begins with a young single mother in Chandan Nagar (Vidya Balan) hanging out with her bedridden daughter. Then one day an abduction followed by another tragic turn of events ruptures their happy, middle-class existence.
