Suits season 7 premiere review round-up: Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter act has not lost a step

The much awaited Season seven of everyone’s (yes, everyone’s) beloved television show premiered on 12 July, and most people cannot stop raging over it. [caption id=“attachment_3807713” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Poster of Suits.[/caption] Suits is the story of one kickass lawyer Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht), one almost-lawyer Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), his love interest and fellow colleague Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), one very sassy redhead Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and their controversial law firm (a.k.a. family). There is also a crazy, bald guy in the midst of all this who has managed to deeply ensconce himself in our hearts — Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) we’re talking to you! The wildly popular American drama series recently completed 100 episodes — a milestone that is considered huge by television industry standards. Now, after a four month hiatus, Suits has returned to our TV screens, and has brought with it all the drama, comedy and romance that it has so religiously been serving its fans with for the last six seasons. Here are a few reviews of the eagerly anticipated season seven premiere Merrill Barrs from Forbes writes: “Heading into the latest season of Suits, it was hard to imagine the show without the foundation of Mike’s life to fall back on. But, given what we see in the first couple episodes back, the show hasn’t lost a step. The ensemble is still on point. The soap-opera stylings are still at the forefront. The emotions are still heightened. The music is still killer. Everything you love about Suits remains as it was” Amber Dowling from The Hollywood Reporter writes: “Compared to the sixth-season start of USA’s Suits, Wednesday night’s season seven premiere marked a return to some of the lighter moments and banter-filled scenes formerly featured on the show. Paul Dailly from TV Fanatic writes: “Skin In the Game was a spectacular season opener.
