The Suicide Squad is here! See Will Smith as Deadshot and rest of cast, looking grim and scary
Ayer posted a cast picture of a fully costumed Suicide Squad on twitter, standing at the backdrop of Belle Reve, which is a fictional prison where the squad is held captive.
It is safe to say that the DC Universe's Suicide Squad film is one of the more anticipated films of 2016, matched only by the buzz about Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
For the uninitiated, Suicide Squad is based on anti-hero villains who act as assets for the United States government.
Directed by David Ayer (of Sabotage and Fury fame), the film stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Adam Beach and others.
Earlier in April, Ayer had posted a picture of Jared Leto as Joker on twitter, and while the image looked nothing like Leto, it gave us a glimpse into the look and feel of the character as Ayer is imagining the dark and dangerous world world of Suicide Squad.
Yesterday, Ayer upped excitement leves when he posted a photo of the fully-costumed cast of Suicide Squad on Twitter, standing at the backdrop of Belle Reve, the fictional prison where the squad is held.
