Stranger Things 2 trailer: Judgement day is here, and so are Eleven and the new monster
In the second season of Stranger Things, all the characters come together as a team to fight against a bigger monster
When it comes to Netflix's Stranger Things, the expectations are always high. This is why the newest (and final trailer), released on Friday the 13th (we see what you did there) is so exciting to watch.
A recent update on Instagram showed us that a bigger monster, the Thessalhydra, is coming and the last trailer gave us a sweet background score — Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'. This time, we get to see Eleven finding the Eggo Mike left for her. She's back, with the same telekinetic skills, but with a different haircut.
We are told that Will sees a shadow on Halloween night, and Hopper confirms that he is not dreaming it all up. He traces it back to the lab where Eleven and the other ten missing children were experimented upon, which is also the place where the entry into the Upside Down is.
The interesting part about this trailer is that all the cast members from the previous season are working together as a team, because they realise that the new monster, who is thought to be like the Thessalhydra from Dungeons and Dragons, is capable of destroying Hawkins. This season, they will be joined by Sadie Sink, Paul Reiser and Dacre Montgomery.
Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton. Season 2 of the show will begin airing on 27 October.
