Stranger Things 2 Trailer: A throwback to the era of Ghostbusters and E.T.
The hit Netflix show Stranger Things 2 is set to return on Halloween.

These are just some of the questions that fans of the hit Netflix show Stranger Things have been wondering after the first season's finale left us with a cliffhanger.
After teasing the name of the episodes of Season 2 in September 2016; the first teaser trailer for the show's second season premiered during the Super Bowl and gave the much awaited release date: it is ofcourse Halloween; which is very fitting from a show that is inspired by Stephen King.
Opening with a vintage Eighties Eggo commercial (referencing Eleven's favorite breakfast food), the 38 seconds spot shows our favourite pre-teen protagonists zooming around town on their bicycles while dressed in Ghostbusters gear. There are references to The teaser also references Speilberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial.
The preview also teases hellish drawings, an exasperated Eleven opening her eyes and a fiery horizon. 'The world is turning upside down,' the show promises.
Apart from that, we also know that season two will have other locations apart from Hawkins and the fact that the town will also have access to the other dimension 'Upside Down'.
Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery. The new season will also star Sean Astin, whose role was recently revealed.
Stranger Things 2 will begin streaming on October 31st, 2017 and hopefully satisfy the fan expectations that the spectacular first season has set. Here's the season 2 trailer:
