The sitar player upon whom Ravi Shankar has bestowed a surname and musical talent is now an artist propelled by her own merit. Anoushka, who has gathered a fifth Grammy nomination for her album Home , spoke to Firstpost a day before she began her India tour, with a concert at Mumbai’s Sri Shanmukhananda Auditorium on Saturday. She will travel to New Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad before ending her tour in Thiruvananthapuram.
