According to a report by the Indian Express, Babu confirmed the news to the media during the promotions of his upcoming sci-fi thriller SPYder. Babu also said that he will join Rajamouli' project next year in late 2018 or early 2019. The actor explained that he has a lot in his kitty right now. He has reportedly announced three of his upcoming projects already, that too with Tollywood's most renowned filmmakers.

Babu will be seen next in Koratala Siva’s political thriller Bharat Ane Nenu, whose production has already kicked off. The film also stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady and is slated to release in early 2018.

His next project, after Bharat Ane Nenu, will be Vamshi Paidipally's Mahesh 25 and following that Babu is reported to collaborate with Trivikram in the film tentatively titled Mahesh 26.

Babu's upcoming film SPYder, directed by AR Murugadoss, will be his debut Tamil film. The film hits the screens this Friday.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli gained global acclaim post the humongous success of the Baahubali  franchise across the world. It is reported that he might do a film for producer DVV Danayya. The film, yet to be titled, is touted to be a social drama. No confirmation regarding the star cast has been made as of now.
