According to a report by ScreenRant, co-producers Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige revealed that the sequel is very much in process. Although the name has not yet been finalised but the plans are being chalked out. “It will be Spider-Man: Subtitle,” says Pascal. To which Feige adds, “Internally we just call it Homecoming 2 [for now].” Pascal also furthered that the film’s pre-production is slated to start this August, with principal photography set to commence on April or May of 2018. At the same time, there have been some revelations about appearances of Spider-Man villains in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was recently added to the MCU mix after [Marvel] studio, which is a subsidiary unit of Disney cracked a deal with Sony — which owns the copyrights to the character Spider-Man and all the other characters of the Spider-Man comic book universe — and sought permission to allow him to appear in Captain America: Civil WarAvengers: Infinity War and its sequel, reports Independent. Earlier, there were speculations that other characters of Spider-Man comic world, like Silver Sable and Black Cat and even Venom (which already is scheduled to be made into a full-length film starring Tom Hardy) might be seen in the other films under MCU. But, recently, Fandango’s Erik Davis took to his Twitter account to share a message by Sony producer Amy Pascal and it reads:

There is also confirmed news regarding a separate film on the female superhero characters, Silver Sable and the Black Cat.  The Hollywood Reporter  reports that the film is to be titled Silver & Black and that it is already in production. With so many superheroes present in the comic-verse, it will be interesting to see how many, apart from the above-mentioned, make it to the cinematic multiverse.
