Soundarya Rajinikanth, husband R Ashwin to file for divorce, end six-year marriage?

The South film industry has been shaken by reports that Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya is separating from her husband Ashwin Ramkumar. The Deccan Chronicle reported that Soundarya and Ashwin have filed a petition for divorce in the family court, although neither has issued a statement about the split so far. Soundarya and Ashwin married in 2010, and have a year-old son called Ved. As per news reports, irreconcilable differences are the reason for their split. Rajinkanth stayed with the couple after returning from the US, where he had been undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment, and hoped to effect a reconciliation, However, Soundarya and Ashwin decided to go ahead with the divorce.
