Sonu Sood leads Ahmedabad marathon as fans sport Fateh T-Shirts for #DrugFreeFuture

Sonu Sood graced the Gift City Aarambh Marathon in Ahmedabad as the Chief Guest, leading a powerful cause-driven event aimed at raising awareness for a drug-free future. Held at the crack of dawn at 4:30 AM, this was the third season of the marathon, which attracted hundreds of participants wearing Fateh-themed T-shirts and supporting the cause.

The marathon, dedicated to promoting a drug-free future, was aligned with Sonu Sood’s mission for a healthier, drug-free society, especially targeting young audiences.

Speaking at the event, Sonu Sood shared, “It’s heartening to see so many people unite for such an important cause. The Gift City Aarambh Marathon is a step towards a healthier, drug-free future, and it’s a reminder of how powerful collective action can be. As I prepare for the release of Fateh, I hope the film can also spark important conversations, about the unseen challenges we face in the digital world. Awareness and vigilance are key in both areas, and through initiatives like this, we can work towards a safer, better future for everyone.”

In addition to his role as the chief guest at the marathon, Sonu Sood also took the opportunity to engage with the local media in Gujarat. Directed and written by Sonu Sood, Fateh is produced by Umesh K.R. Bansal under Zee Studios and Sonali Sood under Shiv Sagar Shakti, with Ajay Dhama as co-producer. Featuring a stellar cast including Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah, the film is set to release on 10th January 2024.
