Sonam K Ahuja celebrates father Anil Kapoor's 40th anniversary in Bollywood with an Instagram post

Anil Kapoor has always been one of the veterans of Bollywood often termed ‘ageless’ due to his ever-young avatars on screen. The actor made his entry into the Hindi film industry in 1979. Recently, his daughter Sonam K Ahuja shared a collage of images from some of his iconic films to mark the completion of 40 years of Anil Kapoor in the Hindi film industry.

The images were from a few of Anil’s pathbreaking features, like Taal, Ram Lakhan, Slumdog Millionaire as well as Sonam and Anil’s upcoming feature Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The sweet picture collage had the caption “40 years and counting” to depict the long journey that the veteran has had in the Hindi film industry. Anil’s first collaboration with his daughter in Shelly Chopra Dhar’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga promises to be a memorable one that depicts an unconventional love story. The movie also features Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in key roles.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is scheduled to hit the theatres on 1 February.
