'Sonakshi Sinha won't be converting to Islam,' says Zaheer Iqbal's father ahead of her wedding

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to get married today at an intimate and private ceremony. And the groom’s father Iqbal Ratnasi told Free Press Journal the Heeramandi actress wouldn’t be converting to Islam. The businessman was quoted saying, “It will have neither Hindu nor Muslim rituals. It will be a civil marriage.”

Iqbal added, “She is not converting, and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts, and religion has no role to play whatsoever. I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi."

And now, one of Salman Khan’s old tweets from 2018 has gone viral where he has spoken about how Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratansi gave him a loan back in the day. Salman, in a Twitter post in 2018 wrote, “N this is my childhood frnd Iqbal, as a teen he was my bank, I still owe him ₹ 2011. thnk God he did not take interest (laughing emoji) bete ko launch Kar raha hoon toh baap ka post toh karsakta hoon na. Lv the pic.”

As per the leaked invite, the party will take place at Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant Bastian in Mumbai. The dress code for the evening is formal and festive.
