Abish Mathew's talk show — Son of Abish is back with its second season. The first season debuted in 2014 and featured guests like José Covaco, Kanan Gill and Vir Das.
After a gap of three years, Mathew;s second season dabbles in improv and sketches along with interviewing guests of his choice. Doesn't that sound familiar? Is it an idea stolen from Jimmy Fallon and Kimmel? Yes and no. While the format might be the same, Abish brings in his own comedy universe to his show.
Mathew decided to address this issue in his new episode; and jokingly referred to himself as #SastaFallon. The talk show is a breather in the genre of Indian comedy shows which is dominated by Kapil Sharma.
