Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu confirm they are expecting their first child
Barely a few months after her brother Saif Ali Khan was blessed with a baby boy, Soha Ali Khan is expecting her first child with fellow actor Kunal Khemu.
Hindustan Times reports that Khemu, who is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty's comedy ensemble Golmaal Again in Hyderabad, confirmed the news through a text message that read, "Yes it’s true... Soha and I are very happy to announce a joint production coming later this year - our first child! We feel blessed and thank you all for your good wishes."
However, he was unable to dwell more on his feelings owing to network congestion since he was busy shooting in Hyderabad. His wife Soha confirmed the news too when she responded to the congratulatory messages with a 'thank you so much'.
On professional front, Soha was last seen opposite comedian-actor Vir Das in Shivaji Lotan Patil's historical action drama 31st October last year. On the other hand, Khemu was last seen in Shantanu Ray Chhibber and Sheershak Anand's adult comedy Guddu Ki Gun last year. However, both their respective films tanked at the box office.
Nonetheless, it seems like they are on a joy ride again, though on completely different lines. Also, India Today reports that the two might be seen sharing the screen space in Saif's home production, the sequel to India's first zombie comedy film, Go Goa Gone that released in 2014. The couple has earlier collaborated in Raj & DK's 2009 film 99 and Umesh Shukla's 2009 comedy film Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge.
Last year, Saif and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to a baby boy whom they named Taimur Ali Khan. While Kareena has been making appearances and doing stage shows, ad shoots and ramp walks post motherhood, she will soon start shooitng for her next feature film, Rhea Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding.
