Social media stalker's guide: Ayushmann Khurrana rocks a nose ring, Emraan Hashmi's #lifegoals
From Emraan Hashmi's book 'Kiss of Life' to Ayushmann Khurrana's nose ring look, here's what your favourite celebrities have been upto on social media this week.
Editor's note: What's more fun than passing off stalking celebrities on social media as work?
Very little, right?
And so, we scanned the Instagram and Twitter accounts of celebs from India and abroad, to bring to you weekly updates from the interwebz. Who tweeted to whom? Who reposted last night's party pics? Who went on a rant about-... well, whatever it is Kanye West rants about. Whatever it is, don't worry, we've got you covered.
We stalk, you read. Deal?
Nothing rocks our boat more than men wearing nose rings, and this week Ayushmann Khurrana is our clear winner. Apart from Khurrana's debunking of gender, there's some Charlie's Angels nostalgia and a baby that legit knows how to pout. Read on!
Gender schmender: First Ranveer Singh, and now Ayushmann Khurrana. As we furiously debate gender and its social constructs, these Bollywood hotties are making a statement without saying a word. Khurrana was spotted wearing a nose ring, some kajal and rocking a cute ponytail during an event.
Friendship goals: Gone are the times when entertainment journalism's best fodder was catty relationships between actresses. Drew Barrymore just shared a selfie holding her bestie Cameron Diaz's second book, and looked genuinely happy about it. Also, can we take a moment to admire her de-glam look? #Sheactuallydidwakeupthisway
I am so proud of my dearest girlfriend. She is smart! Kind! Fun! And now has her second book available with all her knowledge and passion! #longevitybook @camerondiaz get yours today LINK in my BIO A photo posted by Drew Barrymore (@drewbarrymore) on
This kid is alright: Emraan Hashmi recently published a book titled 'The Kiss of Life' which chronicles his son's battle with cancer. And since the Bollywood fraternity has been so supportive of Hashmi and his project, his son Ayaan has been sending out hand-written notes thanking them. Here's Farhan Akhtar tweet (it's okay if you take a break to go.. er, clean out that thing in your eye)

Happy Birthday, Coldplay style: How often do you get to boast of having your mother, Gywneth Paltrow, take you for a Coldplay concert, where your dad, Chris Martin, brings out a cake on stage and celebrates your birthday in front of thousands of people? Most likely never, unless you are Moses Martin, in which case, can we be siblings?
Who's pout is better? Salman Khan's nephew (sister Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma's son) Ahil Khan is the apple of everyone's eye in the Khan family at the moment. And why wouldn't he be? Social media is abundant with pictures of the little cutie, and the latest one is an instagram post of father and son rocking a pout. Clearly a Gen Y boy, no?
Thanks Ahil for teaching me how to Pout A photo posted by Aayush Sharma (@aaysharma) on
Kanye-isms of the week (because why not)
and also my number one design rule of anything I do from shoes to music to homes is that Kim has to like it....
