For those of you who are wondering who will play the villain in the web series, it is popular TV actress Aradhana Uppal, who will venture into the digital space with this negative role. Uppal has earlier been seen in TV shows like Kuchh Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Sadda Haq and Jaane Na Dil Se Door.

In Kuchh Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, she was cast opposite Faruqh Saeed and they played parents to Ayaan, the character played by model-actor Arput Chaudhary in the daily soap.

Uppal's reach among the TV-watching audience is sure to extend the bandwidth of Social. It will also introduce the youth, particularly those in their 20s — the main target group of the web series — to the incredible talent of Uppal.

Social also stars Daggubati, Naveen Kasturia, Priya Banerjee, Abdul Razzaq, Moin Khan and Preeti Asrani in key roles. It is a 13-episode web series directed by Shashi Sudigala. The plot is set in Hyderabad and Daggubati plays Vikram Sampat, the tattooed CEO of a renowned and immensely sensational tech company.
